EPLC1‑B is a board‑mounted AC SECC (Supply Equipment Communication Controller) module for ISO 15118‑2/‑20 compliant AC EV charging stations. It adopts castellation (stamp‑hole) pad layout for direct reflow soldering onto host mainboard. This compact SMD module enables AC chargers to implement High‑Level Communication (HLC), supporting Plug & Charge (PnC), V2G/V2H/V2L and auto‑charge functions. Fully compliant with EU AFIR 2025/656 regulation.

Product Introduction

EPLC1‑B is a board‑mounted AC SECC (Supply Equipment Communication Controller) module for ISO 15118‑2/‑20 compliant AC EV charging stations. It adopts castellation (stamp‑hole) pad layout for direct reflow soldering onto host mainboard.

This compact SMD module enables AC chargers to implement High‑Level Communication (HLC), supporting Plug & Charge (PnC), V2G/V2H/V2L and auto‑charge functions. Fully compliant with EU AFIR 2025/656 regulation.

Different from DIN‑rail mounted EPLC1, EPLC1‑B is designed for SMD assembly on customer’s main control PCB. It integrates MSE1021 HomePlug Green PHY PLC transceiver, MSEX24‑i analog line driver, dual‑core ARM Cortex‑A7 application processor, Ethernet PHY and CP/PP analog front‑end. The PLC coupling transformer shall be placed externally on host board.

It handles CP PWM generation, CP voltage detection and PP resistance measurement. Emergency‑stop signal output is available for breaker control, triggered by OCPP backend or EVCC requests. Host communication can be done via Ethernet or UART (RS232). External Ethernet pin header is required for local / remote firmware configuration and upgrade.
